This is the question I ask of you, as I tell my own story.
Over 80 years ago, Virginia Woolf introduced this daring concept : A Woman Needs Time Alone.
Here we are, in 2010, many complicated generations later. How do we fulfill that need amidst all the clamoring others?
I hear you. My goal every day is to do something for me, and come to think of it, that usually means by myself. Some days I feel pulled in so many directions, doing for others, that I need just some “me” time, whether it last a short or long time. Sometimes it’s reading . . . or walking (either alone or with my dog) . . . or writing a comment on someone else’s blog.
